Ruda holiday park has worked in partnership with DWC Polymers, a company which turns plastic into outdoor furniture, to create two recycled benches for the park.
The benches are made from 94kg of recycled waste that our team collected from Croyde Beach throughout the year.
The benches are located in reception, and on the middle beach entrance path so guests can enjoy a sit down whilst taking in the scenic views of the dunes and paddocks.
Jason Goozee, Head of DCW Polymers, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Ruda Holiday Park to help create a truly circular sustainable model. With the creation and installation of these park benches, we’re able to upcycle discarded plastic collected from marine environments into beautiful, useful and long-lasting products, giving this plastic waste a new lease on life for visitors of Croyde Beach to enjoy for years to come.”
